Chambray is a cotton plain-weave fabric made with a dyed warp yarn and a white filling yarn. Chambray is traditionally light blue in color, but can be found in a wide range of fashion colors. While it may look like denim, chambray is lighter and is woven differently. It has a softer texture than denim and is thinner in construction
All cottons rags come unwashed. Once washed they will become softer. Please note cotton is known to shrink up to a quarter of an inch in width and length when washed.
